Popular Private Bus & Van Routes Across the UAE

Choose the actual corridor first, then price the vehicle around pickup zone, destination, passengers, luggage, waiting and return requirement. The 13 cards below are the direct child pages defined under Routes & Transfers in the approved blueprint.

Dubai ↔ Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman & Northern Emirates

Dubai-origin routes cover the highest-demand inter-emirate, northern-emirate, east-coast, mountain and leisure corridors. The route card should be used as a starting point; exact duty time changes with origin area, destination area, traffic, stops and vehicle class.

Dubai to Abu Dhabi private bus and van transfer route Inter-Emirate

Dubai ↔ Abu Dhabi Transport

Private door-to-door transfer for Dubai ↔ Abu Dhabi city, corporate offices, hotels, project sites and group movements along the E11 corridor. Useful when the group needs one vehicle, one meeting point, luggage control or a return duty rather than fixed public-bus stations.

Travel planning: Usually 1 hr 20 min–1 hr 50 min before pickup-zone / traffic adjustments

Price planning: 7–10 seat public benchmark: AED 360–420 one way

View route details →
Dubai to Sharjah private group transfer High-Frequency Corridor

Dubai ↔ Sharjah Transport

Dubai to Ajman private bus and van transfer Door-to-Door

Dubai to Al Ain private group transfer Long-Distance UAE

Dubai ↔ Al Ain Transport

Dubai ↔ Al Ain private transport for families, university groups, corporate travel, hotel movements and Al Ain attractions. Longer distance makes vehicle comfort, luggage load and driver duty time more important than simply choosing the smallest seat count.

Price planning: 7–10 seat public benchmark: AED 420–510 one way

Dubai to Fujairah private bus and van transfer East Coast

Dubai ↔ Fujairah Transport

Private group transfer from Dubai to Fujairah city, hotels, port / industrial areas and east-coast destinations. Good for groups needing direct baggage handling, custom stops or a same-day return without changing between public services.

Dubai to Hatta private group transfer Mountain & Leisure

Dubai ↔ Hatta Transport

Private Dubai ↔ Hatta vehicle for Hatta Dam, Wadi Hub, hotels, family groups, corporate outings and events. A return-with-waiting plan is often more practical than arranging separate one-way vehicles for attraction visits.

Dubai to Khorfakkan private bus and van transfer East Coast / Khorfakkan

Dubai to Yas Island private transfer Yas Island

Dubai to Yas Island Transfer

Private Dubai → Yas Island transport for Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World, Yas Waterworld, Yas Mall, hotels, Etihad Arena and event groups. Ideal when return timing, child / family groups, luggage or late event finish makes fixed public transport inconvenient.

Price planning: Route-specific quote based on pickup, event timing and vehicle

Dubai to Umm Al Quwain private group transfer UAQ

Dubai ↔ Umm Al Quwain Transport

Private Dubai ↔ Umm Al Quwain transfer for Al Salamah, central UAQ, Industrial City, Emirates Modern Industrial Area, Dreamland Aqua Park, hotels and private group trips.

Sharjah ↔ Abu Dhabi / UAQ and Other Non-Dubai Routes

The plan also includes non-Dubai routes from Sharjah plus a dedicated International Routes child hub. These are separate because pickup geography, border requirements or non-Dubai operating time can materially change the quote.

Route Prices & Quote Factors

Use these figures only as public UAE market planning references checked on 29 August 2026. They are not guaranteed Smart Group tariffs. Your written quote should confirm the exact vehicle, pickup area, route, waiting, return duty, tolls, parking and any special access.

One-Way Pricing

One-way pricing changes sharply by vehicle size and route. The table shows current public 2026 planning ranges for common private inter-emirate movements so a customer can budget before requesting the exact Smart Group quotation.

Return / Multi-Day Pricing

A return is not simply “double the one-way fare.” If the same vehicle and driver wait at the destination, the job can become a full-day duty. Current public examples for Dubai ↔ Abu Dhabi full-day work show roughly AED 750–850 for 7–10 seats, AED 1,000–1,200 for 16–22 seats, AED 1,300–1,600 for a 35-seat bus and AED 1,700–2,200 for a 50–53-seat coach. Multi-day work can also add driver hours, overnight parking or accommodation.

  • Same-day return with driver waiting
  • Drop-off now + separate pickup later
  • Multiple hotels / offices / event stops
  • Multi-day or overnight inter-emirate duty
  • Recurring staff or project-site route
  • Night / early-morning timing
  • Tolls, parking, permits and special venue access

The cheapest-looking one-way rate can be the wrong benchmark for a long waiting duty. Quote the complete itinerary.

MATCH THE VEHICLE TO THE DUTY

Choose the Right Van, Minibus or Bus

Seat count alone is not enough. Luggage, route length, boarding frequency, passenger profile and destination access determine whether an MPV, Hiace / Urvan, Coaster, 30–35 seat bus or 49–55 seat coach is the practical choice.

BUILD THE RIGHT DUTY

One-Way, Return & Multi-Stop Transfers

The route name tells only part of the job. A one-way drop, same-day return and multi-stop charter can use the same road but require very different vehicle hours and pricing.

Private One-Way Point-to-Point Transfer

Use a one-way point-to-point transfer when the group has a defined pickup and final destination with no vehicle requirement after drop-off. Examples include hotel-to-hotel, residence-to-event, office-to-project site and city-to-airport movements.

  • Single pickup + single final drop
  • Optional short agreed stop
  • Pre-agreed vehicle and driver
  • Suitable for airport, hotel and intercity moves
  • Best value when no destination waiting is required

Return Journey, Driver Waiting & Multiple Stops

For a same-day return, event shuttle or sightseeing duty, state how long the driver should wait and whether the vehicle remains with the group. Multi-stop requests should list every stop before quoting because detours, access restrictions and overtime can change the duty.

  • Same-day return after meeting / event
  • Driver waits at destination
  • Separate return pickup at agreed time
  • Multiple hotels or offices
  • Restaurant / attraction stops
  • Route change and overtime treatment
WHO USES PRIVATE ROUTE TRANSFERS

Corporate, Staff, Event & Private Group Routes

Private routes are most valuable when the group needs control over pickup points, vehicle size, timing, luggage or the return plan instead of fitting around public schedules.

Corporate, Staff & Project-Site Transfers

Corporate route planning should start with headcount, shift / meeting time, exact site access and recurrence. For JAFZA, DIP, Dubai South, SAIF Zone, industrial areas, construction sites or Abu Dhabi project travel, parking and gate access should be confirmed before dispatch.

  • Staff and shift movements
  • Corporate meetings between emirates
  • Project-site / industrial transport
  • Trade exhibition delegations
  • Recurring weekly or monthly route
  • Backup / additional trip planning

Event, Family, Tour & Private Group Transfers

Families, wedding parties, tour groups, sports teams and event guests often benefit from one private vehicle because the group stays together and can carry luggage, strollers, event equipment or shopping without repeated transfers.

  • Family and private group trips
  • Weddings and social events
  • Theme-park and attraction groups
  • Tour groups and day trips
  • Sports / school / university groups
  • Hotel and resort transfers
PICKUP & OPERATIONS

Pickup, Drop-Off & Waiting Time

Precise pickup information prevents unnecessary waiting and keeps the quote accurate. A “Dubai pickup” is not enough when Deira, Marina, JAFZA and Dubai South create very different route and duty times.

Hotel, Residence, Office & Venue Pickup Points

Send the building, hotel, residence, office, school, airport terminal or venue name—not only the city. For large buses, confirm whether the pickup point allows coach access and where passengers can safely board.

  • Dubai: Deira, Bur Dubai, Downtown, Business Bay, Marina, JBR, JLT, JAFZA, DIP, Dubai South
  • Sharjah: Al Nahda, Al Taawun, Al Majaz, Al Khan, Muwaileh, SAIF Zone, industrial areas
  • Abu Dhabi: city hotels, Yas Island, Khalifa City, Al Raha, project / venue access
  • Ajman / UAQ / RAK / Fujairah: exact residence, hotel, industrial or attraction point

Waiting Time, Extra Stops & Route Changes

The written quote should state what happens when passengers are late, the customer adds a stop, the event overruns or the route changes after dispatch. Waiting can convert a simple transfer into a longer duty, especially on Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Fujairah, RAK, Hatta and Khorfakkan routes.

  • Included waiting allowance, if any
  • Extra-hour / overtime rule
  • Additional stop pricing
  • Parking and toll treatment
  • Event overrun handling
  • Route-change approval
  • Driver-hours / rest implications on long trips
AIRPORTS & LEISURE ROUTES

Airport & Attraction Transfers

Route transfers can connect directly with airport arrivals, airport departures, hotels, resorts and UAE attractions. Use the dedicated Airport Transfers pages when the flight / terminal is the primary operational requirement.

REQUEST THE RIGHT ROUTE QUOTE

How to Book a Route Transfer

A useful route quote needs the complete movement, not only “Dubai to Abu Dhabi.” Send the exact pickup, destination, passengers, bags and return / waiting requirement in one message.

Quote Details Required

Provide the exact information below so the first quote can use the correct vehicle and duty length.

  • Pickup address / hotel / office / airport
  • Final destination
  • Date and required pickup time
  • Passenger count
  • Luggage count and oversized items
  • One-way, return or multi-stop
  • Expected waiting time
  • Vehicle preference, if any
  • Corporate / event / school / family use case

Route / Vehicle Confirmation

Before travel, the confirmation should state the vehicle class, practical passenger / luggage fit, driver or operations contact, pickup reporting time and the agreed treatment of waiting, tolls, parking, overtime and route changes.

  • Confirmed vehicle category
  • Driver / operations contact
  • Pickup reporting time
  • Agreed route and stops
  • Return / waiting plan
  • Parking / toll / overtime terms
  • Change / cancellation terms
ROUTE TRANSFER QUESTIONS

Routes & Transfers FAQs

Straight answers for planning private inter-emirate and point-to-point group transport.

How much does Routes & Transfers cost?

There is no single Routes & Transfers price. One-way public 2026 planning ranges can start around AED 180–240 for a 7–10-seat Dubai → Sharjah movement and rise above AED 1,000 for large-coach long-distance routes. Exact Smart Group pricing depends on route, pickup zone, vehicle, passengers, luggage, waiting, tolls, parking, return duty and timing.

How long does Routes & Transfers take?

Travel time depends on the exact pickup and destination, not only the emirate names. Dubai → Sharjah can be physically short but heavily affected by peak traffic, while Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, RAK, Fujairah, Hatta and Khorfakkan require longer intercity planning. The confirmed pickup time should include a route-specific buffer.

How do I book a chauffeur?

Send the route, date, pickup time, passenger count, luggage, stops and return requirement through the route quote form. Smart Group then confirms the suitable vehicle class, driver / operations contact and written commercial terms. This service is private bus / van transport with driver rather than a metered taxi product.

Which vehicle size is best for this route?

For 1–6 passengers with light luggage, an MPV class may be enough. Around 7–12 passengers with bags often needs a Hiace / Urvan. Medium groups commonly move to a Coaster or 30–35-seat bus, while large delegations or luggage-heavy groups may need a 49–55-seat coach. The practical capacity should always be checked against luggage.

Can I book a return journey?

Yes. One-way, same-day return, later return pickup, multi-stop and recurring routes can all be quoted. State whether the driver should wait at the destination because a waiting duty can price differently from two independent one-way transfers.
