Airport fit: Small family or executive group
Luggage: Moderate checked luggage; upgrade if every seat has a large case
Downtown, Marina, Palm, Business Bay and hotel pickups for small parties.
View Fleet OptionBook a private Dubai to Zayed International Airport (AUH) transfer with the vehicle selected for passengers, checked luggage and the actual Dubai pickup zone. Smart Group can collect from Dubai Marina, JBR, JLT, Palm Jumeirah, Downtown, Business Bay, DIFC, Deira, Bur Dubai, Al Barsha, Dubai Hills, JVC, Jebel Ali and Dubai South, then operate directly to AUH. Current public group-transfer examples range from roughly AED 350–699 for a 7-seat/family class to AED 1,300–1,900 for a 50-seat coach, depending on vehicle, pickup and inclusions.
DUBAI → AUH FLEET + FARE SNAPSHOT
The same AUH flight can require a very different vehicle from Dubai Marina than from Dubai South, and luggage lowers practical capacity. These are current public planning examples, linked to the corresponding Smart Group fleet classes.

Use a Dubai→AUH-specific vehicle comparison, because inter-emirate airport transport is not priced like a short Dubai city transfer.
Current public 2026 group-transfer examples for Dubai→Abu Dhabi / AUH-style duties show a wide but useful planning span: roughly AED 350–699 for a 7-seat/family class, AED 500–750 for 12–15 seats, AED 800–1,100 for a 20–22-seat Coaster, around AED 1,100–1,300 for a 30–35-seat bus and AED 1,300–1,900 for a 50-seat coach. A separate current operator publishes DXB→Abu Dhabi figures of AED 350 for 7 seats, AED 500 for 14 seats, AED 800–1,000 for 22 seats, AED 1,100 for 33 seats and AED 1,300 for 50 seats. The spread reflects pickup location, vehicle, waiting and what the operator includes.
| Vehicle class | Current public one-way examples | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| 7–10 seat MPV / family class | AED 350–699 | Small family / executive |
| 12–15 seat Hiace / Urvan | AED 500–750 | Family / crew / hotel group |
| 20–22 seat Coaster | AED 800–1,100 | Medium corporate / tour group |
| 30–35 seat bus | About AED 1,100–1,300 | Larger organised group |
| 50-seat coach | AED 1,300–1,900 | Large luggage-heavy group |

Return pricing depends on whether the same vehicle waits in Abu Dhabi, returns to Dubai empty and comes back later, or two independent transfers are scheduled. One current Dubai→Abu Dhabi operator publishes general return examples of AED 850 for a 14-seat category, AED 950 for a 22-seat Coaster, AED 1,100 for a 30-seat minibus and AED 1,600 for a 50-seat coach. Use those only as market signals; an airport return must be quoted around the actual flight schedule, AUH parking/waiting and driver duty.
| Vehicle reference | Current public Dubai↔Abu Dhabi return example | Airport quote check |
|---|---|---|
| 14-seat category | About AED 850 | Confirm AUH timing + parking |
| 22-seat Coaster | About AED 950 | Confirm luggage + waiting |
| 30-seat minibus | About AED 1,100 | Confirm duty hours |
| 50-seat coach | About AED 1,600 | Confirm coach access + driver duty |

The booking should identify the Dubai origin precisely and use Zayed International Airport’s current main-terminal pickup/drop-off process.
Zayed International Airport currently operates all flights from its main terminal, so there is no old Terminal 1/2/3 choice to manage at AUH. For a Dubai→AUH departure, send airline, flight number and scheduled departure time so pickup can be worked backward from the airline’s reporting requirement. For the reverse AUH→Dubai arrival, send scheduled landing time and lead-passenger contact.
For Dubai pickup, nominate the exact hotel lobby, residence tower, villa gate, office entrance or map pin. Before travel, confirm reporting time and driver/operations contact. For reverse AUH pickups, the airport currently directs Arrivals pickup vehicles to the Short Stay Car Park directly opposite the terminal; pre-arranged private-transfer passengers should follow the designated meeting instructions in their confirmation.
Dubai→AUH is an inter-emirate airport duty. Traffic, Dubai pickup zone and peak periods matter as much as the nominal road distance.
A current Dubai↔Abu Dhabi private-transfer provider gives a distance around 140 km and a normal journey time around 1.5 hours, noting that peak traffic can extend the drive to about 2 hours. For AUH, pickup from Dubai Marina/Jebel Ali is usually geographically more direct than Deira/Bur Dubai, while multiple hotel pickups add time. Use an operational range rather than promising one fixed journey time.
| Planning factor | Current guidance |
|---|---|
| Dubai↔Abu Dhabi distance reference | About 140 km |
| Normal private-transfer journey | About 1.5 hours |
| Peak traffic | Can extend toward 2 hours |
| Multiple Dubai pickups | Add loading + detour time |
Work backward from the airline’s required AUH check-in/reporting time, then add the inter-emirate drive and a realistic traffic contingency. Groups from Deira, Bur Dubai, Downtown, Business Bay or multiple hotels should leave more buffer than a direct pickup from Dubai Marina, Jebel Ali or Dubai South. For coaches, add loading time so every passenger and suitcase is ready before departure.
Select the vehicle from real luggage volume and airport-party size, then confirm the exact model or class in writing.
For roughly 4–6 travellers with moderate luggage, a Kia Carnival / 7–10-seat MPV class is suitable. For roughly 7–10 travellers with checked bags, a Toyota Hiace or Nissan Urvan 12–15-seat passenger van gives better practical space. Current Dubai→AUH-style public examples are roughly AED 350–699 for the small family class and AED 500–750 for 12–15 seats.
For roughly 14–20 travellers with checked bags, a Toyota Coaster / 20–22-seat class is the practical starting point. Current public Dubai→AUH examples are about AED 800–1,100 for that band. Groups in the 20s should compare a 30–35-seat bus, with current examples around AED 1,100–1,300. For 35–45+ travellers with suitcases, a 49–55-seat touring coach with underfloor luggage bays is normally stronger than a high-capacity staff bus; current 50-seat examples are about AED 1,300–1,900.
The Dubai→AUH corridor is used by families, airline crews, corporate teams, event guests and large travel groups; each needs a different operating plan.
Families can book a door-to-door vehicle from Dubai Marina, JBR, Palm Jumeirah, Downtown, Business Bay, Deira, Bur Dubai, Al Barsha, JVC or other Dubai districts. Tour groups may need guide seats, luggage bays and a single reporting point. A private transfer is especially useful for early-morning or late-night flights when the group needs one vehicle and one confirmed airport arrival time.
Corporate bookings may involve DIFC, Business Bay, Dubai Media City, Internet City, JAFZA, Dubai South or hotel pickups, and may need invoice details, executive vehicle classes or multiple flight waves. Specify whether the request is a standard group van/bus or a premium chauffeur class so the quote matches the actual service rather than using “VIP” as a generic label.
Zayed International Airport has defined pickup/drop-off areas, so waiting and parking should be part of the quote rather than an afterthought.
For Dubai→AUH departure drops, the vehicle should report to the agreed Dubai pickup time; a delayed passenger group can affect the airport reporting margin. For reverse AUH→Dubai arrivals, provide the flight number so dispatch can monitor changes and state the included grace time. AUH’s official guidance places Arrivals pickups in the Short Stay Car Park opposite the terminal.
For AUH departure drop-off, Zayed International Airport allows direct drop at the Departures forecourt and currently states the first 10 minutes are free. For Arrivals pickups, parking applies in the Short Stay Car Park. Dubai hotel pickups, Yas Island, Al Raha, Khalifa City, airport-area hotels or other detours should be included before confirmation. Salik/Darb treatment and overtime should be stated in writing.
The route can start across Dubai and can be extended around the AUH airport corridor when the extra stop is declared in advance.
Common Dubai origins include Dubai Marina, JBR, JLT, Palm Jumeirah, Al Barsha, Dubai Hills, JVC, Downtown, Business Bay, DIFC, Deira, Bur Dubai, Dubai Media City, Internet City, Jebel Ali, JAFZA and Dubai South. Quote the actual origin because a Deira pickup and a Dubai South pickup do not create the same mileage, traffic or reporting time.
The transfer can be extended beyond AUH to Yas Island, Al Raha, Khalifa City, Saadiyat Island or Abu Dhabi city, or booked in reverse from AUH back to Dubai. Those are separate route scopes. Quote the complete itinerary, because an AUH terminal drop is shorter than a terminal plus Abu Dhabi city hotel, event venue or Saadiyat stop.
Send the exact Dubai origin, AUH flight, passengers and luggage so the vehicle and pickup time can be confirmed correctly.
Provide travel date, exact Dubai pickup, airline and AUH flight time, passenger count, full-size luggage, child seat / stroller / wheelchair needs, extra stops and return requirement. For departures, include the airline’s reporting/check-in requirement if known.
The final confirmation should identify the booked fleet class, reporting time, driver/operations contact when assigned, AUH main-terminal destination, written price and treatment of tolls, parking, waiting and overtime. For a coach, confirm where all passengers assemble and the latest departure time needed to protect the flight.
Choose the closest fleet class or let Smart Group recommend it from passengers plus luggage.
